Discovery Children’s Academy will host our Annual Christmas Program on Friday, December 09th at the Calvary Baptist Church. The program will begin at 7:30, we ask that children arrive at 7:15. All ages two years – school age have a part in the program!! The cost of admission is an non-perishable food item, which will be donated to the church’s food pantry.

Happy Holidays to all of our wonderful D.C.A. families!!
Please remember that our Center will be closed on Thanksgiving and the Friday after (November 24th and 25t). Due to fixed cost averaged over a calendar year, there is no reduction in tuition for Holidays.

Just a Reminder –
M.I.S.D. and V.I.S.D. will be closed on October 10. Discovery Children’s Academy will be open and ready for some fall fun!!! Please remember to add the all day fee of $10 (per child) to your tuition.

Due to the Chemical Fire in Waxahachie, we will not be having outdoor play time this afternoon.
Parents will be notified if there is an M.I.S.D. mandated evacuation.

Thank you to all the wonderful families that joined us Friday at our Open House!!! We really enjoyed having the one on one time with each of you! Also thank you to our AMAZING staff members who made it possible!!! I am so blessed to work with such awesome people!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for alllll you do!!!!!!

Our annual “Open House” / “Meet The Teacher” is September 9th at 7:00 pm. Please come join the fun!! The class with the most visitors wins an ICE CREAM PARTY!!! So…. invite grandma, grandpa too!!!! We are looking forward to seeing you there!!!!

Our summer camp groups will be going to the movies on Wednesday (7/27) & Thursday (7/28).

On Friday July 22 all of our children will be participating in a water day here at the center. Kids need to bring their swim suits, towels, sunscreen and a change of clothes. See you in the morning!!!
